It’s close to six years since +39 Pizzeria and Antipasteria opened in the CBD. Now it’s finally opening a second venue. +39 Toorak will open in the former Valentino Calabrian Kitchen site at the end of the month.

“We’d been looking for another venue and then this popped up. It was already an Italian restaurant so it ticked all the boxes,” says co-owner, Andrea Ceriani.

Although there’ll be some menu changes implemented slowly over time, when +39 Pizzeria Toorak opens it will be almost exactly the same as its CBD counterpart. There’ll be the same thin-crust pizzas, antipasti, pasta and salads – but it will be more relaxed.

“This is a nice area, there are lots of families, so it’ll probably be a little more family-oriented,” says Ceriani.
